Morning Prayer
Prayer for Repentance
Lord, I come to You in humility, seeking Your mercy as Daniel did in times of deep reflection. Help me to turn away from anything that draws me away from Your presence. May my heart be filled with genuine repentance and a longing for Your righteousness. As I fast and pray, renew my spirit and strengthen my faith. Let my prayers rise to You as a sweet offering, rooted in sincerity and truth. Forgive my shortcomings and guide me back to Your will. In Jesus name, Amen.
Morning Verse
Daniel 9:3
"And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes:"
Daniel 9:3 reveals a powerful example of seeking God with intensity through prayer, fasting, and humility. It teaches us to approach God with a sincere heart when we are in need of divine guidance or mercy. In daily life, we often face situations where we must pause and reflect deeply, seeking God's help wholeheartedly. This verse invites us to strip away distractions and dedicate time to prayer with sincerity. Just as Daniel demonstrated a posture of submission, we too can find strength in surrendering our worries to God. Such moments of repentance can bring clarity and peace to our lives.
